7 Uniquely Nashville Ways to Celebrate July 4th Weekend
When it comes to celebrating the Fourth of July, there are unlimited fun things to do in Music City. Whether it’s listening to some fantastic live music, eating some good ol’ hot chicken, or enjoying the countryside, there’s always something to get into for Independence Day.

The hilariously named Thirth of July is an annual tradition of music, food, and drinks. North 12th Street is closed down for a huge bock party that brings out hundreds of friends and neighbors to get together and celebrate America the best way knows how: through music. Buy your tickets now!
On July 3, TailGate Beer will be hosting a huge Fourth of July party filled with live music, craft beer, pizza, and an awe-inspiring fireworks display. This is a family-friendly event with plenty of activities for patriots of all ages. There are going to be a lot of people at this event, so bring a chair so you can properly enjoy the fireworks!
It wouldn’t be Independence Day in Nashville without some live music, right? This year, you can expect artists such as Maddie & Tae, Rayland Baxter, Erin McCarley, Andrew Combs, Ruby Amanfu, and Sheryl Crow headlining. Oh, it’s going to be a fabulous Fourth with music like this lined up.
Every Fourth of July you hear about burgers and hot dogs, burgers and hot dogs. But what about hot chicken, baby? Where does that mouth-burning Nashville dish fit in? Why, at the Music City Hot Chicken Festival, of course. Created in 2006, this annual festival brings the community together to celebrate the most uniquely Nashville dish, Hot Chicken. There will be live music by local bands, and a whole lot of chicken this Independence Day.
Already dubbed “’Murica’s Finest,” join City House + Friends for a cookout like no other cookout. This is the beginning of a brand new Nashville Independence Day tradition, so be sure to check it out! There will be lots of great food, great drinks, great company, and, of course, great fireworks.
