The Future of Digital Connectivity Arrives in Bellevue
By Laura Pochodylo
Nashville’s Bellevue area now has a brand-new way to explore everything digital.
Local Comcast executives, store team members and Bellevue dignitaries cut the ribbon in front of the area’s newest Xfinity Store last week, celebrating both “a new way to WiFi” and not having to drive to Franklin or Nashville anymore for their Xfinity needs.
“We’ve had such a warm response from the residents here,” said Katie Lambert, the new store’s manager.
Well-stocked with Bluetooth speakers, iPhones, Samsung phones, tech accessories and more, the brand-new store is created with the customer in mind, featuring a broad range of products and interactive stations to learn more about offerings from Xfinity and the X1 platform. In addition to information about internet and cable packages, the store also showcases Xfinity’s ability to be an integral part of a home security system and a mobile network.
Learning is an integral part of the new Xfinity Store’s hands-on approach. In addition to visitors being able to interact with remotes, the X1 platform and more, the store also plans to host workshops to help the Bellevue community learn how to best utilize their home technology. The store is even available as community meeting space.
“We are so happy to provide this store for the community and happy to be part of the Bellevue community,” said Kimberly Sasser-Hayden, senior manager of external affairs at Comcast.
Amy Napoli, executive director of the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce, echoed Sasser-Hayden’s sentiments. Napoli was present along with many other representatives from the Chamber and Bellevue area businesses.
“We are happy to have [Xfinity] as a partner and resource here in Bellevue,” Napoli said.
The store’s staff was on hand, demonstrating Olympics viewing capabilities via the X1 Platform, and ready to answer questions to simplify the process. While many consumers might think of Xfinity as simply their internet or cable services, the Xfinity Store demonstrates all of the possibilities associated with digital connectivity.
The provider’s newest offering is Xfinity Mobile, which combines America’s largest and most reliable 4G mobile network with all of Xfinity’s WiFi hotspots, all with flexible billing designed to save users money. Xfinity Mobile users can pay by either per gig used or a flat rate for unlimited data. In addition to their new mobile service, Xfinity Stores also carry a whole range of popular cell phones and accessories like you would find in any other wireless store.
